If you have at least a slight interest in the blues and rock-and-roll, this movie is a delight. It skillfully avoids the usual trap of high spirits at the beginning leading to a sorrowful drug-filled ending. Along the way, the impersonations of Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, Howlin' Wolf, Etta James and others are absolutely wonderful.

The best and most underrated movie of the year, No Country For Old Men puts Quentin Tarantino back on top of the list where he belongs. Old Man, Old Gun is a tired expression but not in this case, it was spot on and perfectly applied. Old Man, Old Gun has the perfect delivery, the perfect physicality, and the perfect timing. A movie that will make you smile as well as make you think. I'm not going to reveal the ending because the whole thing is too good to ruin.

The LEGO Movie is going to be a hit because it is, but I can't help but wish they'd have found a way to make the entire thing in stop-motion. They went with a CGI style for the films, but the music, characters and toy designs are all done in stop-motion. It would have been cool.

Jim Carrey is one of the best actors to ever come out of America, and this movie shows off his acting prowess. He's doing the voice of the titular chicken, and he's a little too on the nose in some of his characterizations, but he's great in other parts of the movie. 827ec27edc
