Here is an overview of the training. Each topic will be presented as a walkthrough of a fully animated shot, where the animator will break down the key steps of the animation process. The source files for each step will be available along the video.
For anyone who's not familiar with what we're facing here: this training series is based on the curriculum of Animation Mentor. The most prestigious online animation course out there. With Hjalti, Nacho and Pablo as mentors (bonus points). For the fraction of the price. we are priviliged!
Where could we see the reviews on the rigs. For a beginner like me, it's not clear how to even activate ball controllers (for example to make the ball look like a water drop). Also, it would be better if there were subtitles that show what buttons the instructors are pressing. In general, the training seems to be created for those who are familiar with the technical part of the software. That's why it's difficult to reproduce the same animation. I've watched and practiced the free tutorials in the official youtube Blender channel. But it's obviously not enough to understand how certain activities were made. If it's possible if there were a more detailed explanation of every move. I'm currently on bouncing balls level, and some things are that obvious to figure out. But I hope the more I'll learn the more I understand the process somehow.
CG Cookie have partnered with Beorn Leonard and Nathan Vegdahl to bring you a new training series on character animation production and workflow. The Blender 3D Animation Toolkit is a training series developed to teach you the advanced character animation techniques and workflows needed to animate complete scenes. This series is a sequel to CG Cookie's Animation Fundamentals Series.
Animation is more than just moving something from A to B. It's about achieving the illusion of life. And just like in life, it's not about where we're going but how we get there. To be clear, this is not a character animation course. Rather it is a course that will teach you the essentials of how to put character into your animation. Animation is intrinsically complex and its difficulty increases exponentially as you progress, so it's vital that we get the fundamentals right. These fundamentals, while conceptually simple to understand, can be be quite difficult to achieve. Thus in these lessons we will use basic shapes like cubes and spheres that are pre-rigged so that we can explore animation principles like Squash & Stretch, Arcs of Motion, Overlap, and various other fundamentals of animation without being tied down to the technical constraints that would normally hold us back. We'll even take a look at the principles behind creating the rigs of this course. In short, we will discuss everything you need to bring your 3D creations to life! CC Music: "Harmony" by Robbero

Most tutorials are for Blender 2.7x so I would advise to start off there and use tutorials such as =kes2qmijy7w Blender fundamentals. Blender Guru is also a good source for medium to higher level modelling and has just released a video on the new 2.8 layout which I suggest watching Watch both this one, =lPVpg4_POww, which is the Blender Guru new layout video, and the first link which is a Blender 2.79b video of a similar nature to gather how different the versions are, which is why I suggested to learn 2.79b since there are so many videos available for it. Start small and learn all the functions first. Remember that Blender engine has been removed in favour of the new Eevee rendering engine so as much as possible try to learn in cycles, but couldn't hurt to learn both the blender engine and eevee engine layouts. 2b1af7f3a8
