Qualcomm Atheros Ar8161 Driver Download ===== https://tinurll.com/2sXB18
I have a desktop that I built 7 years ago. I finally updated to Windows 10 two months ago. It went pretty flawlessly except now it drops my internet connection daily. I have to reboot to get it to come back. I'm wondering if I need to update the network adapter driver but cannot find one and don't want to risk downloading the wrong one. Wondering if someone can help me find the right one. It is Qualcomm Atheros AR8161/8165 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.20)
I am attaching the latest driver I could find for Windows 64bit. I would first do a Network Reset in Windows 10. If that does not help then download the zip file I attached. Unzip to a file on the desktop. Right click the adapter in Device Manager > Update Driver and browse to the unzipped folder to install the driver.
What I definitely recommend is that you keep a copy of any "last working driver" that you have downloaded in case you should need to reinstall it. If, and only if, you find that Windows Update is consistently updating a driver (or drivers) incorrectly should you turn that feature off. Ideally, you should also report the device where that's occurring, along with the functioning driver, to Microsoft via the Feedback Hub.
Once you have downloaded your new driver, you'll need to install it. In Windows, use a built-in utility called Device Manager, which allows you to see all of the devices recognized by your system, and the drivers associated with them. 2b1af7f3a8
