This is really interesting. I'm a huge fan of these band and collecting everything I could get my mitts on. I have many of the CD's and all the vinyl but that's about it. So the more I find about these really can help me believe the real business side of the band. I was trying to find out what the reason was that the band got in a horrible financial state. I'm now further convinced that it was the really big name's shying away from the band. All of his "Executive" deals, the signings and the Abba-like tours just amounted to nothing. The band just didn't want to fight amongst themselves over it all. It ruined the band.
The original box-sets for Immediate were hardback LP with a black vinyl cover. A traditional thing. I felt that they should have shrunk down the box-set to CD and released it as a re-master CD, then they could have done a hardback LP with a grey vinyl cover. After doing some digging on the internet, I've found that the first box set had over a hundred rarities and unreleased tracks. I've read that the second box-set was completed from the masters that were on the first box-set.Did they even remaster the rarities and unreleased tracks in the second box-set?There was a third box-set released later that had more unreleased and rarities, and I hope that this time they go for a box-set that was remastered for this time, and not the second box-set of over a hundred rarities and unreleased tracks. d2c66b5586
